Refund policy

Thank you for shopping with us. Because our products are digital files delivered instantly via internet download, we handle refunds and returns differently than a physical store.

Please read our policy carefully before making a purchase.

1. Instant Digital Downloads (Final Sale)

All sales of digital products, resources, and downloadable files are final.

Because you receive immediate access to the files upon purchase, we do not process returns, exchanges, or refunds if you:

  • Change your mind about the purchase.

  • Accidentally buy the wrong item.

  • Find you do not have the right software to open it (please check product descriptions carefully for file compatibility before buying).

  • Decide the content isn't a good fit for your personal needs after downloading it.

2. Your Rights Under the Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA)

While we do not offer refunds for a change of mind, we fully comply with our obligations under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

Our digital products must be of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, and match the description provided on our website.

If you experience a genuine technical issue or fault with your digital download, please let us know. A fault includes things like:

  • The download link is broken or inactive.

  • The file is corrupted and will not open.

  • The product is significantly different from what was described or shown in the product listing.

3. How We Resolve Faulty Digital Products

If there is a problem with your file, please contact us at info@thelanguageroomaotearoa.nz within 14 days of purchase with your order number and a brief description (or screenshot) of the issue.

  • Minor Faults: If the issue is minor (e.g., a broken link or a minor formatting typo), we will remedy it by sending you a corrected, fully working copy of the file within a reasonable timeframe at no extra cost.

  • Major Faults: If the file has a major fault that cannot be fixed (e.g., it fundamentally does not work or fails to match the description entirely), you are entitled to choose a replacement digital product of equal value or a full refund.
