With our domino cards, your ākonga will learn without even realising it. Whether as an activity to start a lesson, to revise content, to fill in gaps in faster lessons, or to keep in a relief teacher's bag, these dominoes are ideal for all learning environments.

 How to prepare:

• download the file after your purchase,
• print the cards on A4 or two pages per sheet,
• optional: print on cardstock or laminate for durability,
• hand out to ākonga.

 What you can expect:

• set 1 consists of 16 gamecards 
• a distinct beginning and end

 How to play (example):

• Deal the Cards: Shuffle the domino set and distribute all cards equally among the players (or place a face-down draw pile in the center if playing a variation).
• The Starting Piece: One player lays down any domino to start the chain.
• Matching: Players take turns matching a side of their domino to an open end on the table. The match must be linguistically correct (e.g., matching a German word to its English translation, matching a pronoun to the correct verb conjugation, or matching a question to an appropriate response).
• Winning the Game: The first player to successfully play all their dominoes wins the round. If a player is stuck, they must pass their turn (or draw from the center pile, depending on the agreed rule).
