How to play
Setup
- Shuffle the cards thoroughly.
- Lay all the cards face down in a grid-like layout across the table or floor so they do not overlap.
Gameplay
- Taking Turns: The youngest player usually goes first, with play moving clockwise.
- Turning Cards: On your turn, turn two cards face up so everyone can see their values.
Making a Match:
- If they match (e.g., a colour and the corresponding word in the other language: You have successfully found a pair! Pick them up and place them in a scoring pile in front of you. You then take another turn.
- If they do not match: Turn them back face down in their exact original positions. Your turn ends, and the player to your left goes.
Winning the Game
- The game continues until every card has been matched and cleared from the table.
- The Winner: Each pair counts as one point. The player who has collected the most pairs at the end wins the game.
Top Tip: Keep your eyes peeled and try to memorise where cards are placed, even when it's not your turn, so you can easily snap up matches later on!
